If my bartending was like my writing, I'd sit and look at the rail (see: Blog-post title) and attempt to make a few drinks, maybe a amaretto sour, then a beam and coke, then half a vodka cranberry, dumping them out as waste unceremoniously.
I'd start to make another drink and think it was going ok, but then stop awkwardly, adjust something, then throw it out too. I doubt I would actually make a lot of good drinks
